Why the deletion?

Read the article and see that I have explained that she was a real historical person and is NOT nonsensical. Also read the link to Fulk FitzWarin and READ that he was a real historical person and not a fantasy.--jeanne (talk) 10:09, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think it was added in error and I have removed it. BigDuncTalk 10:25, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date

Agree with the revision to her birthdate if that of her father's birthdate is true. But is there any source for the precise date inserted instead? Laurel Lodged (talk) 16:31, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I got it over two years ago (when I created the article) from a history of the Butler family which I had downloaded many years ago into my old (broken) computer. I'll keep searching for it, as it's a reliable source. You might know of it-it's a complete pedigree of the Butlers of Ormond. The 1187 date is a biological impossibility as her first child was born in 1192!--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 17:22, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the exact birthdate, as we have *no* evidence of which I know for that. None of the sources cited give it, and it smacks of fanciful thinking.Wjhonson (talk) 07:48, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have also removed the marriage year 1189 as we have no source which states this year in particular.Wjhonson (talk) 07:50, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's probably the best thing to do seeing as I have had no luck in finding the Butler site where I had obtained the dates. Without a RS, the dates are indeed open to doubt.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 08:13, 22 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
