Ghana
Ghana is listed as a country that has withdrawn recognition of Kosovo. However the 2022 Kosovo diplomatic list - https://web.archive.org/web/20220802134312/https://www.mfa-ks.net/assets/cms/uploads/files/2022/Lista%20Diplomatike%202022%20Diplomatic%20List%202022-compressed.pdf - states that the Ghanaian ambassador in Ankara, Turkey is accredited to the Republic of Kosovo. The fact that Ghana has accredited an "ambassador" to the Republic of Kosovo should be taken as proof that Ghana continues to recognises the independence of Kosovo and media reports that recognition has been withdrawn may not be true. - Latest UNSC meeting, Ghana "welcomes His Excellency foreign minister of Serbia" and "takes note of presence of Miss Donika Gervalla". I think they couldn't be more clear, everyone watching these sessions understands the importance of language in the UNSC. As for the Ambassador of Ghana in Turkey, they may in fact act like a liason officer for Kosovo, welcoming Kosovo representatives, talk about accepting passports or strengthening economic ties - Kosovo talks about all those things and much more with Serbia. Very few state representatives are going to be clear as Morocco's minister of FA, the man was probably afraid of being captured on photo with Pacoli, so his statement ended sounding like "Kosovo citizen has no place sitting in my vicinity", but people generally don't behave like that. I think this video is a very strong argument that official Belgrade wasn't lying.

Good resource and im 100 % that its fabricated lies by Belgrade because we havent seen any evidence of Ghana withdrawing its recognition. Lets put Ghana back to the list of recognition countries and paint it blue in the map! IllyricumShqip (talk) 15:35, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
During her visit on the meeting of Francophone members President Osmani attended aswell with lot of African leaders there and was siting together with Ghana representatives. Reports from Belgrade that Ghana withdraw their recognition couldnt and havent been proven with note verbal so I think we shall put Ghana back to the recognition countries as it was previously before & paint Ghana blue in the map!
Here is an meeting-picture of President Osmani of Kosovo & Ghana representatives sitting together: https://president-ksgov.net/repository/images/main/19_11_2022_2025987_13.jpg?1668881184 — Preceding unsigned comment added by IllyricumShqip (talk • contribs) 06:12, 22 November 2022 (UTC) Once again it shows that every derecognition claim is a lie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.238.75.117 (talk) 07:57, 27 November 2022 (UTC)
- A photograph of two leaders sitting side-by-side does not imply recognition. For example, Serbian heads of state have been pictured sitting at the same table as the leader from Kosovo at several regional meetings, however, Serbia regards Kosovo as part of its country. 174.91.152.136 (talk) 02:39, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
Of course its an lie the Serbian Foreign ministery and minister never showed note verbal of the countries he just said it without proof IllyricumShqip (talk) 11:09, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
As a resident/citizen of Kosovo, you can't apply for a visa at the Embassy of Ghana in Ankara (or their consulate in Istanbul): https://ghanaembassy-turkey.com/ I tried several other embassies of Ghana (Rome, Vienna, Prague) - but no luck. --N Jordan (talk) 22:50, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
On Ghana´s national day the ambassador of Kosova in France Mr. Mehdi Halimi celebrated with his Ghanaian colleague in France being invited in the Ghanian embassy in Paris the national day of Ghana clearly showing that Ghana does recognize the Independence of Kosova:

On 17 February 2024 the President of the Maldives issued a press release on his official website offering greetings to the president and prime minister of Kosovo to mark the coocasion of Kosovo's independence day. This adds further proof that Vucic's claims that the Maldives had de-recognised Kosovo are false. https://presidency.gov.mv/Press/Article/29885 Dn9ahx (talk) 19:35, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
Costa Rica date of recognition
Costa Rica cited as 18 February 2008 even though in the source it says 17 February (if Google Translate is correct) The Serbian Office for Kosovo and Metohija also says that Costa Rica was the first county to recognize Kosovo. So can somebody confirm if this is correct. No.cilepogača (talk) 20:54, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

Short version: Change Costa Rica recognition of Kosovo from February 18 to February 17, year 2008.
Explanation: In this page it is currently stated that Costa Rica, along with other countries recognized Kosovo as an independent state on 18 February 2008. However the linked document (source 39) in page 93 states:
Kósovo. 17 febrero de 2008(*). (*) Reconocimiento de la Independencia.
Also, Kosovo's government page confirms Costa Rica's recognition on February 17th:
https://www.beinkosovo.com/countries-that-have-recognized-kosovo-as-an-independent-state/ This might be included as an additional source.

- Not done: @Thimjok: This has been discussed in the past, see the archives. The problem is the difference in time zones. It was still February 17 in Costa Rica, but already February 18 in Europe. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:08, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
