Storm damage

When was the house damaged? Remember that this paragraph may not be touched again for a decade, so it would be good to find more accurate information than "recently". We need to find and source an approximate date; based on when the edit was made (Feb 2021), it would seem that the storm damage occurred in 2020. I'll start looking for local news articles from that area of Florida. 67.8.203.16 (talk) 16:46, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I've narrowed the time frame for the damage a bit. I found a post on the local (Mayo, FL) Facebook group from January 1st asking "what happened to the House of 7 Gables?", so that at least narrows the time frame to 2020. Additionally, the local paper "Mayo Free Press" published its last issue on July 2nd, 2020. Its archives don't mention the house, so I will assume nothing of significance had happened to it by the end of the paper's run. That puts the time frame between July 2nd and December 31st, 2020. This is all OR and partly speculation, so I won't add it to the article obviously, but hopefully it will help another researcher. 67.8.203.16 (talk) 20:01, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
