Article naming
At Talk:District is a list that shows that the format "X District" is overwhelmingly used. Only Germany, Austria, Switzerland use "X (district)" partially, and Luxembourg uses it for all. In Luxembourgish and German the districts of Luxembourg are called "Distrikt X" in French "District de X". The word "District" could be considered part of the name. Translation from de, lb, fr yields "District of X" or "X District". I suggest to use "X District", since in the English WP it is more common for article names than "District of X". - I agree. Rename all to 'X District'. Bastin 19:59, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- Your reply was fast. I also have contacted two other members listed at the project page, the other at the project page all had edits from long ago. I renamed the articles. Also in articles I made the full names more visible. So one does not need to hover with the mouse over the link to see where it leads to. Template, some overview pages and all canton pages are adjusted. TrueColour (talk) 22:15, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
