Requesting the following group of moves:

The names of the COROT planets have been changed to drop the "Exo-" part. Reference: [1]. This change has already been applied to the Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia [2]. Icalanise (talk) 17:40, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Strongly agree Having Exo- in these designations seems unnecessary and taking up a lot of space. It seems that no host star and planet designations besides COROT designations have Exo- in it. For example, when the first planet discovered by Kepler, the first Kepler designation will not be Kepler-Exo-1b but Kepler-1b. BlueEarth (talk | contribs) 19:25, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, how can you know what designation theme they will use? Anyway, I agree of course because we should follow the designation theme as suggested by the original discoverers. — JyriL talk 13:10, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
