Is it possible to get the lack of references tag removed? There are three third-party references and all of the information on this page coming from those references is indisputable.

This reads more like an advertisement than actual NPOV article. The business-software.com site for instance has only strengths of the company, with no actual backing of facts. I'm adding the POV check template. 137.183.232.22 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:50, 27 September 2011 (UTC).

Request to Modify Inaccurate Content on the JDA Software and RedPrairie Wikipedia Pages
Hello Wikipedia volunteer team,
I would like to bring to your attention some inaccurate content (highlighted below) that has been posted on the JDA Software and RedPrairie Wikipedia pages.
JDA Software (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JDA_Software) On 5th Dec, 2012[11] JDA Software was acquired by RedPrairie, a privately held supply chain, workforce and all-channel commerce software provider headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia in the United States. Shortly after the merger, JDA’s CEO Hamish Brewer, announced that 70% of RedPrairie jobs would be offshored to India and that mediocrity would be unacceptable to JDA.[12]
RedPrairie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RedPrairie) On 5th Dec, 2012 the company acquire JDA Software, a software and consultancy company in Scottsdale, Arizona providing supply chain management, merchandising and pricing solutions. Shortly after the merger, JDA’s CEO Hamish Brewer, announced that 70% of RedPrairie jobs would be offshored to India and that mediocrity would be unacceptable. [2]
1. The December 5, 2012 date listed as the acquisition date is inaccurate. The completed merger was announced on December 21, 2012 as noted in the press release found at this link. http://www.jda.com/company/press-releases/pID/2165/
2. JDA CEO Hamish Brewer did not announce that 70% of the RedPrairie jobs would be offshored to India.
3. The TechTarget article cited at the end of the highlighted comments is in no way connected to the comment posted. We are unable to identify a credible source for the statement so that it can be verified. I would like to ask this community to please consider modifying these posts to more accurately reflect the nature of the JDA/RedPrairie merger. If you would like additional third-party accounts of the merger to assist with an accurate representation of the transaction, we recommend these:

Request to edit company description
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Please note: JDA is not a consultancy company. JDA is a software and SaaS (software as a service) company and is co-owned by Blackstone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.108.141.110 (talk) 19:36, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
- Please provide a source to verify the requested changes, most importantly, the claim of co-ownership with Blackstone.[a] Please note that many SaaS companies include feedback considerations given to their clients along with the software-as-services they provide, which in theory counts as consulting. Also, if the IP editor receives, or expects to receive, compensation for any contribution they make, they must disclose their employer, client, and affiliation to comply with Wikipedia's terms of use and the policy on paid editing. Notes
- ^ The article already states that
On August 8, 2016, JDA was reported to be exploring to sell the company to Honeywell International Inc. The sale was challenged on August 16, 2016 by The Blackstone Group, giving an alternative option to JDA by offering a financing plan
. This claim does not clarify what the end result of offering a financing plan was; thus the involvement of Blackstone remains unclear. An updated reliable source would clear any confusion.
- Please see references on the Blackstone Group that clarify the end result of their involvement with JDA Software here: https://jda.com/knowledge-center/press-release/jda-completes-previously-announced-575-million-equity-investment-from-blackstone. Regards, Corporate Communications Marketing Coordinator, JDA Software. 207.108.141.110 (talk) 18:36, 27 November 2019 (UTC)
- That source states that there was an investment made by Blackstone to recapitalize the company, but it does not state in those words that the company is "co-owned" by Blackstone. If the information is to be added to the article, the language used needs to align with that used by the company press release (sufficiently paraphrased). - @BackBay20 and OhKayeSierra: queried move request Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:10, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- @BackBay20: Per WP:NCCORP, the legal suffix "Inc." is not normally included in the article title. I'm certainly up for moving the title to Blue Yonder, or better yet, Blue Yonder (company), but I'd like to get your opinion on it before doing so. OhKayeSierra (talk) 21:29, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
- We need neither the natural disambiguator "Inc", nor the parenthetical "company": Blue Yonder is better than either, although it is a WP:PTM for several article titles.62.165.200.11 (talk) 03:20, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
I think "Blue Yonder" works or "Blue Yonder (Company)" given that the name could also have other references. BackBay20 (talk) 18:30, 12 May 2020 (UTC)BackBay20
- BlueYonder was created recently (12 March) by User:Wiki-uk as a redirect, but appears to be only a stylisation. 62.165.200.11 (talk) 04:20, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- There's also the navbox Template:JDA Software, but it's only transcluded in this one article, and should perhaps just be deleted. It only includes two blue links (i2 Technologies and Manugistics), the first of which is a redirect to this article anyway. 62.165.200.11 (talk) 03:34, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- I have now sent Template:JDA Software to TfD. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 15:10, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
