To change the coach label to manager, use |coach_type=Manager.

Alternatives to avoid Wikipedia's Post-expand include size limit

Pages with many navboxes may come close to or exceed Wikipedia's Post-expand include size limit. For this reason, consider using Module:National squad directly by replacing {{national squad with {{#invoke:national squad|main.

If one wishes to use a hand-crafted list of players instead of the one built into this template, for example to provide different jersey numbers, use the parameter "list" instead. This overrides all of the player parameters and the coach parameter. One may use the templates {{football squad2 player}} and {{cricket squad2 coach}} to format this list.
