Original research, namely a synthesis of many cases when theosophists did music or musicians were interested in theosophy. Most of the sources are either theosophic (and thus not independent, as WP:RS requires) or not consider the topic in any depth, like mentioning a membership of a person in Theological society. The section "The Theosophical theory of sound" is rather different from the rest of the article, but it does not cite enough independent sources either.

- Comments - I see some erroneous material and plain original research. Two examples: Holst had nothing to do with theosophy (his religious beliefs were mainstream protestant and two of his works are included in the Episcopal Church's Hymnal 1982, while his exploration of Hindu religion was a phase). Olivier Messiaen was a standard Roman Catholic and as professor at the Paris Conservatoire he was pretty mainstream; his inspirations were St. Francis and the Transfiguration, not theosophy. While his music was radical, his professed beliefs were not! Is this such a mess it cant be saved? Bearian (talk) 21:20, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- Ping me if you want to save this, otherwise count me as a delete vote. Bearian (talk) 21:21, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- Weak delete If someone expressed a desire to fix the article, I would vote keep. But its a mess of WP:OR and essay-like writing. WP:TNT may be the best option here. Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 07:10, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
