Saint Joseph Central Catholic High School (SJCC) is a private, Catholic high school in Fremont, Ohio. It is a part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo. Their mission: To reach and teach the Mind, Body, Heart and Soul of each child to bring them closer to God. St. Joseph is noted for it's excellence in education. Their small class sizes provide more personal attention for their students. $1,652,000 Scholarship Dollars were awarded to 2016 Graduates. The school mascot is the "Crimson Streak".
History
Founded in 1908, this Diocesan high school is accredited by the Ohio Catholic School Accreditation Association (OCSAA). A new building was completed in 1957 at an estimated cost of $80,000. The original high school building was used as St. Joseph Elementary School, with the high school located next door. It is part of Bishop Hoffman Catholic School, a school system providing a Catholic education for students PreK-12.
