Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions seem to be advertising or for promotional purposes. Wikipedia does not allow advertising in articles. For more information on this, see

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! --BigDT 13:59, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your username

[edit]

Hello, 22PraiseYHVH. While there had been some discussion here about whether your username met Wikipedia policy on what usernames editors can use, the result was to allow it, and that discussion has now been closed. If you would like to see what concerns were raised, you can still find that discussion in the archive. You do not need to change your username. However, if you ever wish to do so, it is possible for you to keep your present contributions history under a new name: simply request a new name here following the guidelines on that page, rather than creating a whole new account. Thank you. -- BigDT 15:56, 7 February 2007 (UTC) --BigDT 15:56, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:REFSPAM. Wikipedia is not a means of promoting books or websites. References that are by mainstream academics and professionally published are welcome, especially if cited to add new material to the article, but simply placing the title to boost traffic to a site is not. To give this emphasis, all your edits have been to promote a self-published book. If you do this again and it is brought to my attention I will block you. Wikipedia isn't a place to advertise. Dougweller (talk) 14:33, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
