Evan Farmer (born July 28, 1972 in Asmara, Ethiopia) is a U.S. actor, musician, and television personality. Farmer grew up in Baltimore, MD. He is a graduate of Tulane University where he studied Architecture in 1995.

He is best known for his role in MTV's 2ge+her, a stint on the U.S. soap opera Guiding Light, and for his current position as host of While You Were Out on The Learning Channel. Recently, he has started his own business (Renovolution) which renovates single-family homes and puts his strong interest and background in carpentry to good use.

In 2000, he was an opening act on Britney Spears's summer tour. He has also appeared in minor roles in movies such as Austin Powers in Goldmember and as a guest star on television shows including JAG and TRL. He also provided voice-overs for various projects.

He is actively involved in many charities. Most notably: the Susan G. Komen Foundation, The Michael Cuccione Foundation, Rebuilding Together, Bras For a Cause, and he personally responded to the Pacific Tsunami Disaster with a $10,000.00 donation to the Unicef: Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund.

He lives in New York City with his wife, Andrea Smith.
