The Savage 110FP is a "Law Enforcement" adaptation of the Savage 110 production line.

All models feature heavy, floating barrels, crown recession, and button rifling.

Magazine capacity is 4 rounds in 25-06, .308 and 30-06, and 3 rounds in 7 mm RemMag and 300 WinMag calibres. All models feature an internal, non-detachable, box magazine. The 2008 savage catalog lists the 110FP with a detachable box magazine.

Stock is black synthetic with positive checkering and dual pillar bedding.

Rifling twist rate is 1 in 10" (254 mm) except for the 7 mm Remington Magnum which is 1 in 9.5" (241 mm).
