Welcome!

Hello, ShadowYams, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! Re: your help request

[edit]

{{helpme}} I know this sounds kind of newbish, but how do you warn an IP address about suspected vandalism? They don't have a talk page that I can post a warning on ShadowYams (talk) 05:34, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First off, let me ask, why did you leave a {{helpme}} request on someone else's talk page? In the future, ask them here :) Second, for your question, if the IP user page does not already have a talk page being used, just make it! Click the red discussion/talk link, and write your message or concerns to that person in the text box that comes up. What exactly is the problem you are having? 1. He left a welcome message on the top of my page. It said to ask him if I wanted help 2. Thanks. I didn't know that I could create talk pages for other people.

Heh, no problem. Yes, you can create talk pages for anyone if they don't already have them. Also, use the {{helpme}} template if you need it, but remember to only place it on your talk page, so those watching for help requests don't get confused ;) Huntster (t@c) 23:19, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
