Jamie Miley (born 14 January 2004) is an English footballer who plays as a central midfielder for EFL League Two club Newport County, on loan from Premier League club Newcastle United.
Career
Jamie joined Newcastle United's Academy at the age of 11.[1] He made debut for Newcastle's Under-21 side at the age of 17 against Sheffield Wednesday F.C. at Hillsborough in the 2021/22 Papa John's Trophy. For the first time, he played for first-team during their pre-season friendly win against Gateshead in July 2023 and again in friendly wins over Hull City in July 2024 and La Liga outfit Girona in August 2024.[2] In August 2024, Miley joined EFL League Two Newport County on loan for the remainder of the 2024–25 season.[3] He made his debut for Newport on 3 September 2024 in the 2-1 EFL Trophy defeat to Cheltenham Town.[4]
Personal life
His younger brother, Lewis, is also a footballer who also plays for Newcastle United.[5]
