Vedaa is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment. The film stars John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh, Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee. Inspired by true events, it is scheduled to release on 15 August 2024.[1][2]

Synopsis

Vedaa depicts the bravery of one person challenging a draconian system in an uprising. It follows a young woman's fight for justice, guided by a man who becomes her ally.

Production

The filming began on 20 June 2023 in Rajasthan.[3][4] The shoot was wrapped up in Kashmir in December 2023.[5]

Release

Vedaa was initially scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 12 and has been rescheduled to Independence Day 2024.[6][7]
