Australia

[edit]

Esther also went to Australia (in 1932) to promote New Zealand products.Whilst there she walked from Melbourne to Brisbane (starting 19 November)in 84 days. Not only was she the first known woman to have completed this walk, but the first known person in the world to walk 1,000 miles in less than 100 days.122.57.152.168 (talk) 01:35, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

According to DNZB, she reached Brisbane on 25 September 1933, which is 310 days later. Do you have a source for the claim she was first to walk 1000 miles in less than 100 days?-gadfium 23:21, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
