most gangsta name ever. W guice 17:29, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, the reason I came here is because I was wondering - does anyone know if that's his real name?

Yes, as far as I know it is. And there's actually nothing strange about that, since in Hebrew neither of these names have these amusing meanings. "Uzi" is a relatively archaic Hebrew first name that can literally be translated as "My Strength". The modern submachine-gun was of course named after the person who designed it, an Israeli man named Uzi. As for "Hitman" (which could be better transliterated phonetically as "Khitman" or "Chitman"), that's just a vaguely European-Germanic surname that could be quite common. Any connection to the assassin vocation is purely coincidental and a result of the varying spelling. 77.125.77.89 (talk) 21:34, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In the better ISO 259-3 Romanization of Hebrew it would be written ʕuzzi Ḥíṭman Yarenn Šagor (talk) 07:55, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
