@4meter4: Rather than slapping 4 tags on the article, would you like to identify problematic sources or remove the inappropriate content? ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:15, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

It's against AFD policy/procedure to remove material at the time of nomination so that other reviewers can see what sources were in the article at the time of nomination. The tags identify the issues currently with the material being cited. To me it is readily obvious that the majority of the sources in this article do not meet the criteria for sources per policy at WP:Verifiability. I've started an analysis below, which I will add to with a detailed analysis of the references. Best.4meter4 (talk) 19:09, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

A drag contestant getting injured early in the season and having to withdraw does not leave much of a legacy. Certainly, nothing here that shows Kornbread is significant outside of the reality competition and deserves a stand alone encyclopedia article separate from the article on the television series.

Red XN Green tickY Green tickY Green tickY Red XN Promotional article for upcoming 14th season (now airing) of RuPaul's Drag Race. Essentially boils down to highlighting that this is the first season of Drag Race with multiple trans constestants. Given that there have been many trans queens now on the show in past seasons, this seems to be more of a pertinent fact for the article on this individual season of the show as opposed to providing any significant coverage or notability on Kornbread as a drag artist. What did we learn about her other than she is trans, a drag queen, and from L.A. who is competing on the show? Nothing.

There must be multiple qualifying sources to meet the notability requirements
You say problematic content and sourcing should not be removed from an article during AfD, which seems silly to be because AfD is for assessing total coverage of a topic, not only the sources currently used as inline citations. I don't see harm in removing bad content during AfD, but I'll assume you understand the process and rules better than me. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:34, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
@Another Believer, you misunderstood what I said. I said at the time of nomination sources shouldn't be removed. Its tabboo/against community practice at AFD for the nominator to remove material. I work regularly at AFD as a reviewer. When nominators remove content prior or at the time of nomination, it has caused drama as people have accused nominators of removing valuable material to influence the AFD outcomes. As such, community practice at AFD among regular participants if for nominators to not remove content. Other editors can remove material. As the nominator I should place tags but not remove sources as best practice for AFD implementation. Best.4meter4 (talk) 20:47, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
I understand. Thanks for clarifying. ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:54, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
@4meter4 The page survived AfD. I'd invite you to remove inappropriately sourced content, if you're willing and interested. Perhaps then a couple of the tags could be removed? ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:04, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
I renominated it as the keep arguments did not address concerns about WP:BLP1E and the closer did not properly weigh the strength of the arguments in their close per WP:NOTAVOTE. In my opinion it should have not been closed as no consensus; particularly with their being a very poorly argued keep rationale. Best.4meter4 (talk) 18:52, 19 March 2022 (UTC)
@4meter4 The article has survived AfD again. I'd invite you, again, to remove problematic content and sources to improve the entry, if you wish. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:31, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
