Thank you.

A tag has been placed on EVER TEAM, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of EVER TEAM and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Peridon (talk) 17:42, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on EVER TEAM requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Removing Speedy at EVER TEAM

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles you created, as you did with EVER TEAM. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:

  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 08:45, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:Sazarian/EVER TEAM, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Conflict of interest

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article EVER TEAM, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Do no delete this page

[edit]

Please do not delete this page as it is not intended to be promotional, but is an encyclopedia article about EVER TEAM in the enterprise content management field. --Sazarian (talk) 10:31, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for deletion

[edit]

i can't remember how the article looked when I tagged it - but I must have had reason. The version on your subpage doesn't look too much like spam to me, but if you had words like 'we' and 'us' in before, or sounded like a press release or brochure, I would have tagged it. I'm sorry I can't remember exactly what was wrong, but I've done a lot of miles since I tagged it. The version currently up (tagged by someone else) looks more like a lack of notability to me. You have to ask yourself this: if this wasn't the company I work for, would I think it merited an article? What have they done that's of encyclopaedic note? Remember this is an encyclopaedia, not a directory. Peridon (talk) 17:42, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it was for UNambiguous advertising so it might be better now. Notability is still an issue. Peridon (talk) 19:54, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

JamesB has removed his tag and I've added a userpage draft tag (which sort of means 'hands off for the moment'). I've taken out a Trademark symbol, too. Watch out for things like "EVER TEAM celebrates its 20 years" which is not the way things are written here. Read other company articles and see how they are written. And add more refs if possible - independent ones that talk about the company without repeating your handouts, and not blogs, forums, LinkedIn and so on. I'll look in again as I get time. Peridon (talk) 11:39, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
PS The different language Wikipedias have different policies, and having an article on one doesn't mean there will be one elsewhere. Peridon (talk) 11:41, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Issues

[edit]

"20 years of expertise" still sounds promotional. (When I scan through a new article, expertise is one of the words I look for. After 'we', 'the best' 'delivers', 'solutions' and similar.) A lot of new article writers use a time-line. It's not always a good idea. Look at it with fresh eyes - does it actually do anything for anyone who isn't one of your own people? "1995: 1st internet portal application" - is that THE first or your first? I know your field of operations is not one of the most widely known, so you have a rather harder task than authors and singers to establish notability. You need also to clarify things. What (or indeed who) is Flora? Idea. Get a friend, relation or wife/husband who is not connected with the company to read through the article. See what you need to explain to them - and put it in. Final point for now - does EVER TEAM have to be in capitals? It also looks promotional. If it is the company style, OK, not much we can do. If it isn't, then lose it. Peridon (talk) 12:10, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated EVER TEAM, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/EVER TEAM. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:15, 6 May 2010 (UTC) [reply]

Repost of Ever Team

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Ever Team requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of recreating the page. Thank you. Status and Advice

[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I compared this article and the one that was deleted, and do not see that the notability question has been addressed, so I had no alternative but to delete it once more. The best course you can take is to find some major independent product reviews; but if you really think you have already improved it sufficiently, take the matter to WP:Deletion review, where there will be a community discussion. If there is something I didn't see , tell me on my talk p. & I will look once more, but it would need to be something additional, not present in the original article.
