Don't worry too much about rules, just basically, don't be stupid. I'll reply if I can, but I won't guarantee anything. I'm a 14-year-old guy and I'm new to this, so go easy on me. And don't be stupid. Please don't vandalize. And if you see a way I can improve, tell me! Oh, and did I mention, don't be stupid! Seriously, just don't. Oh, and here's my user page: User: BJM138.

Welcome!

Thank you! I look forward to sharing what I know, and what I learn along the way. I am proud to contribute to one of the world's most popular sources of information.

Stub tags

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you added a {{stub}} tag to Haput.

Couple of points:

  • Please take care not to add this tag to an article like this which already has a subject-specific stub tag - this one had {{Quba-geo-stub}}.
  • Please note that the stub tag should go right at the end of the article - see WP:ORDER.

Thanks, and happy editing. There's a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it's an interesting journey! PamD 19:16, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, it didn't show up on the mobile website. Either way, thank you.

BJM138, you are invited to the Teahouse

Citations

[edit]

Hey BJM, I noticed you added a new ref in this edit, except you added it as a bare url. In the future, you can try fully citing the url by clicking on the "Cite" dropdown menu located in the toolbar above the edit box, and clicking on "Templates" and then "cite web". Please fill out the author's last/first name, title of the work, url of the page, work (generally the website/website company name), publisher (optional), date of publication, and access date. If you want to include the publisher field in addition to the work field, you can use the parent company of the website. So for example, the publisher for cracked.com would be Demand Media, which owns the site, although I generally don't recommend sites such as cracked.com as sites such as that are unreliable. There's more information at WP:RS and WP:CITE for identifying reliable sources and citing them.

Also, remember to sign your posts by adding ~~~~ (4 tildes) at the end of your post. Thanks and I hope you'll have fun contributing to Wikipedia. - M0rphzone (talk) 03:50, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
