Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Macedonia), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (Macedonia). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Kafka Liz (talk) 14:29, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at WP:NCMAC, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Fut.Perf. 14:37, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the use of the word "vandalise" here is emotive and is also incorrect: the edits in question did not "vandalise" anything. They were edits that disrupted in an unconstructive way a Wikipedia guideline page by bypassing the accepted route to make changes to a guideline page. Whether this was done by Gogofoto out of ignorance (by far the most likely scenario), or as an act done to ignore accepted process, neither you or I can know. However, it would be more helpful to just tell the editor that he should discuss things on the guideline's talk page before making any changes to the actual guideline page. Gogofoto, your edits are unconstructive because they cannot remain and will always be reverted. Their removal says nothing about the actual validity of your viewpoint, merely that this is not the way to go about getting the changes you want made. You need to argue the case for making the changes in the guideline's talk page. Meowy 20:23, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
