Bizzle delete

[edit]

The content was deleted because it offered excessive detail on a non-notable song. The material that is left is sufficient for a reader to understand the subject. References are not required since we don't need to delve into the lyrical content of the song. So to answer your question, while you may not be finished, it's not clear what sort of references you could add to the material to make it any better. However, if you want to expand it, use the Show preview button to see what it looks like and make corrections before saving it. Either I or another editor from the Christian music project will be reviewing the material for content and tone. You can make that easier by using reliable sources and by remaining neutral when describing the content and the events. I am not trying to censor you or the subject, but I am trying to follow the policies and guidelines that govern Wikipedia. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:20, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See I have left a message. Please read it and use {{talkback}} on my talk page after responding here. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:26, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I understand it was recently released. Feel free to summarize the lyrics, provided that it can be referenced to a reliable source. There is a large segment of Evangelicalism that agrees with Bizzle on the subject, however there are also many Evangelicals on the other side of the discussion and I am more concerned about walking the fine line between promoting a view homosexuality and LGBT matters and discussing the song.
I'm sure that it will see a bit of discussion on the coming weekend. What happens next week will determine how notable it really becomes.
You might want to focus on the websites that have been provided as reliable sources on the Christian music project page I linked to above to see what they have to say about this.
Oh, and good work on digging this up early. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:39, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have not reviewed your additions for content, but I did notice that the references are pretty badly messed-up. Please see Help:Referencing for beginners for tips on cleaning them up, and thanks for sticking with it. I hope I didn't come across too aggressively. Hello ToppDogg10458. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Same Love (A response)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Same Love (A response)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 18:01, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
