Carola Alexandra Veit, born at the 2nd June 1973 in Hamburg is a german politician and since the 23st march 2011 president of the Hamburg Parliament.

Political career

In 1991 Carola Veit entered the SPD.

From 1997 to 2004 she was deputy in the interior minestry of Hamburg. Since 2004 Veit is a member of the Hamburg Parliament for the SPD. In the 20th session of the parliament (2011-2015) she won the vote and became President of the Hamburg Parliament. In the 21st (2015-2020) she also won the vote. [1]
