The Tribute Power Station is a hydroelectric power station located in Western Tasmania, Australia. The Tribute Power Station has one Fuji Francis-type turbine, with a generating capacity of 84 megawatts (113,000 hp) of electricity.[1]
Tribute was commissioned by Hydro Tasmania in 1994 as part of the Anthony Power Development, and was considered to be part of the last hydro-electric power development in Tasmania.[2] However although it might have been the last major construction project of the older style Hydro - The 1,000 GWH Project will see upgrades to component parts of existing superstructure operated by Hydro Tasmania.[3][4][5]
