The Duke was a 1999 film. It was based around a dog, Hubert, inheriting an English country mansion.

Plot

When the kind hearted duke of the manor dies, he leaves his estate to his dog, Hubert, with Charlotte the Butler's niece as his guardian. However, two greedy relatives have it in for the dog, as they scheme to take over the manor!

Controversy

Some controversy was caused over the depiction of Queen Elizabeth II in the film. In it, the Queen is seen dancing around doing the conga, and flatulating.
