Swizz Beatz

Kasseem Dean (born on August 30, 1978) is a New York-based American hip hop record producer/rapper of Jamaican and Puerto-Rican descent. He is better known by his stage name Swizz Beatz. He is founder of the Full Surface Records music label. His songs are usually very "bouncy" and energetic, though his early work was known to be quite and arguably experimental—it reportedly took him an average of only 10 to 15 minutes to complete a song. In most modern Swizz Beatz productions, the quick uttered phrase "Swizzy" is heard at the beginning and is accompanied by guest vocals from Swizz himself, although often uncredited.

Biography

Dean has 2 sons and is married to R&B singer Mashonda

Career

Dean has his own production label called Full Surface.

Dean is currently working on albums by Madonna, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Cassidy, Usher, Papoose, Chamillionaire, Ja Rule, Busta Rhymes, Solange Knowles, N.O.R.E, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Kanye West, Ludacris, and Mary J. Blige[citation needed]. He is also set to be recording the new album for his close friend DMX which is confirmed to be titled The Resurrection Of Hip-Hop. He produced the street single, Untouchable, for the new Tupac Shakur album, Pac's Life.

Swizz Beatz is released his first ever solo-album in 2007 titled "One Man Band Man"

There was controversy surrounding the leading single "It's Me Bitches" people felt it should not be played at concerts because it encourages such a negative message. Swizz Beatz said that the song was being taken too seriously.
