wiL Francis (born in Seattle, Washington on January 8, 1982) is frontman and lead vocalist of the band Aiden.

Biography

wiL Francis was born in Seattle, Washington. During his early years wiL had had an interest in music starting with bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers [1] but only really began to take it seriously after he started to join bands at 13.

Before wiL joined Aiden he played in a band who supported the Seattle metalcore band, Himsa, a couple of times. When wiL joined Aiden he originally played Bass but after the original vocalist left he took over, and eventually, when Nick Wiggins was found (the final member of the current line up), he dropped all Bass dutys to persue his vocal career.

Recently in an interview with Kerrang! Magazine [2], he admitted that he had planned a massacre that he was going to commit on New Year's Eve, 1999. He said he was that lonely and violent to carry it out because of the life he led up until he went on a 6 month rehabilitation course.

He is also an avid user of ZZT.

Drugs use

wiL took his first drink at 12 and within a month was adding this to pot and heading off in to the woods. When Francis was 13 years old, he tried cocaine which was supplied by the older brother of a friend. In time, and not much time either, his drug use had come to include Heroin, Crystal meth, Crack, LSD, you name it. The only drug Francis claims not to have tried is Quaaludes, a prescription downer [2]. By the time he turned 18 he had been in trouble with the police no less than 20 times in one early and was given one last chance to get clean. when he had his chances he did get clean and now he's the great singer for Aiden.
