Kritikos: journal of postmodern cultural sound, text and image

Kritikos is an electronic peer-reviewed, open access journal published monthly by Intertheory Press, an academic press publishing work in cultural theory and criticism. The journal and press were founded by Nicholas Ruiz III in 2004, who is the current general editor.

The journal is widely represented in university library database indexing services, such as the MLA International Bibliography, EBSCO Host Research Databases, The Directory of Open Access Journals, Intute Arts and Humanities Index, Ulrich’s Periodical Index, WorldCat and elsewhere.

The journal is best known for its work cultural and critical theory, art and criticism, and has had contributions from notable theorists and editors such as Richard Rorty, Gerry Coulter (editor of the International Journal of Baudrillard Studies), Paul Taylor (editor of the International Journal of Zizek Studies), Eugene Thacker, McKenzie Wark and others.
