While on duty, two emergency paramedics, David Vaughn and Victor Hernandez, receive a call from a young girl named Libby, whose mother has lost consciousness in a deserted area. However, when they arrive there they are captured by members of a cult called the Quanta Group. |

The movie starts with David Vaughn's wife visiting her doctor for her medical checkup. Later she visits David at work and tells him that she is expecting a baby boy. While on duty, David and Victor Hernandez, two emergency paramedics, receive a call from a young girl whose mother has lost consciousness in a deserted area. |

The two men discover that the Quanta Group is composed of scientists, philosophers and mathematicians and led by a man who calls himself "The Teacher". The Quanta Group believes that the end of the world is coming soon and is preparing for a mass suicide. While Victor is seduced by the group, David must try to escape and save his friend before it is too late. |

When they reach the gas station, some people in a pickup try to stop them from saving the lady. They kidnap David and Vic and take them along. On reaching the place both discover that this cult has a Teacher who is the brain behind all this. Kidnapped and locked in an isolated building, David tries to discover the truth behind a secret cult and their beliefs. As Victor’s beliefs are challenged and the line between religion and science is crossed, David must find a way to escape. |

Plot
